Victims of human trafficking and child sexual abuse are often photographed in hotel rooms. Identifying the locations in these photos is key to the work that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) does to locate victims and help build cases against their abusers.
Imaging for Good works with NCMEC by building AI-driven image search tools that are specifically built to recognize hotels.
TraffickCam is a mobile application, developed by Imaging for Good, that enables everyday travelers assist in this effort, by uploading photos of the hotel rooms you stay in when you travel.
