What is Traffickcam?
Traffickcam is a research project and mobile app that helps NCMEC identify the hotel rooms appearing in child sexual abuse material, so investigators can locate where victims have been. Travelers and researchers contribute hotel room photos; those photos are indexed and used to rank candidate matches for NCMEC analysts.
How does it work?
Contributors photograph hotel rooms with the app;
the system builds a visual search index over hundreds of thousands of hotels;
NCMEC analysts submit a query image from an investigation and get back ranked hotel matches that investigators use as leads.
GOING TO SLEEP, will come back to this.

Data use and licensing — separate short paragraph or a linked policy page: what licenses we accept, how contributed photos are stored, who sees them, what's shared with NCMEC vs. shared with researchers vs. made public. Commit to a specific licensing taxonomy (CC0, CC-BY, app-upload-terms) and state it plainly. This is the single most valuable page for blunting scrutiny.
FAQ — a handful: "Will my photos be public?" "Can I withdraw later?" "What about people in the background?" "Will NCMEC know who contributed?" "How is this different from uploading to Google Maps?"
